The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
- One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & EthicsExpectations
- 3+ years experience hospital/medical center setting
- PICU or NICU experience – may work across picu/nicu floor (Candidate will be cross trained on general Pediatric floor to assist when needed
- Equipment experience: HFOV, Jet, Servo U
- CRTs accepted
- ALL certs/IA RCP license in hand
- NRP or PALS certified required

Shift Notes:
Nights, 36 hrs/week, Call: None; Weekends – every 3rd including holiday rotation

Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled
