Special Education Teacher – K–3 Resource | $50/hr | Full-Time | Phoenix Area | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a K–3 resource classroom in the Phoenix area for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, offering $50/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview:

• Location: Phoenix area

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

• Interview: Virtual

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for K–3 students in a resource setting

• Collaborate with general education staff and ESS aides

• Monitor student progress and support data tracking

• Deliver services aligned with IEP goals

Caseload & Support:

• Caseload: 21 students

• Classroom support provided by ESS aides and case managers

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate with SPED endorsement (elementary level)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Interview Availability:

• October 2: 12–12:45 PM, 1:45–2:15 PM

• October 3: 8–10 AM

• October 9 & 10: Any time
