Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Resource Specialists to support students in San Jose, California for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin October 8, 2025, and run for 180 school days, offering $70/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview:

• Location: San Jose, CA

• Start Date: October 8, 2025

• Duration: 180 school days

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $70/hour

• Openings: 2 (1 Mild/Moderate, 1 Moderate/Severe)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students

• Collaborate with general education and support staff

• Develop and implement IEPs

• Deliver services in alignment with student needs and district goals

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid California teaching credential with appropriate SPED authorization (M/M or M/S)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
