Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Resource Specialists to support students in San Jose, California for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin October 8, 2025, and run for 180 school days, offering $70/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview:

Location: San Jose, CA
Start Date: October 8, 2025
Duration: 180 school days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Modality: In-person
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Openings: 2 (1 Mild/Moderate, 1 Moderate/Severe)

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students
Collaborate with general education and support staff
Develop and implement IEPs
Deliver services in alignment with student needs and district goals

Minimum Requirements:

Valid California teaching credential with appropriate SPED authorization (M/M or M/S)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
