Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.  The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results.  The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival.

? Requirements

  • ARRT (M) Certification – Required
  • CRT (California Radiologic Technologist License) – Required
  • Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience – Required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
