Corrections LPN – Evening Shift | Mount Pleasant, IA
We’re hiring a dependable and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Corrections assignment in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a great opportunity to provide essential care in a secure facility while working a consistent schedule.

Location: Mount Pleasant, IA

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Evening shift, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Schedule: Monday–Friday + every other weekend

Hours: 40 hours/week
?? Compensation:

Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $40/hour

Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $1,850/week Proof of residency required for travel rate
? Requirements:

Active LPN license
-
Previous corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
