Long Term Care Registered Nurse - Travel

Job Title: Long Term Care Registered Nurse
Location: Salisbury, MD
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with potential for extension)
Shift: Evening | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Monday–Friday | 40 hrs/week
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

Job Description:
The Long Term Care RN is responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a long-term care and assisted living setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to coordinate care effectively. Nurses will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ health and well-being.

Essential Duties:

• Deliver patient care according to nursing standards
• Assess and monitor residents’ conditions
• Administer medications and manage treatments
• Document care plans and progress
• Educate residents and families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Active RN license (Maryland or compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on LTC/Assisted Living experience
• TB screening and current health certificate (as required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• EMR experience (Optimus/Yardi preferred)

  • Evening: 3 RN/LPNs & 3 GNAs (minimum 2 RN/LPNs & 2 GNAs)
  • Night: 2 RN/LPNs & 2 GNAs (minimum 1 RN/LPN & 2 GNAs)
