Position: Special Education Teaching Associate
Location: Bristol County, MA
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 32.5–35 hours/week
School Year: 2025–2026
Compensation: Up to $35/hour

What You’ll Do:
As a Special Education Teaching Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with individualized learning plans. You’ll lead instruction, implement behavior strategies, and collaborate with educators to foster inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings
- Developing and executing IEP goals
- Leading and mentoring paraprofessionals
- Tracking and documenting student progress and behavior
- Supporting daily classroom routines and transitions
- Partnering with teachers and specialists to meet student needs
Who You Are:
- Experienced in working with students facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges
- Proficient in behavior management and de-escalation techniques
- Comfortable writing IEP goals and monitoring progress
- Calm, adaptable, and collaborative
- Dedicated to inclusive education and student success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- CPR certification, TB test, and health clearance (as applicable)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
