We’re hiring a Special Education Instructional Aide to join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and therapeutic needs. This is a high-impact role for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional support to students under the supervision of special education staff
Assist with behavioral interventions and emotional regulation strategies
Support students with mobility, personal care, and therapeutic needs as directed by licensed professionals
Help implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and social workers to ensure student success

Qualifications:

Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB clearance: questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Valid health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Preferred:
- Prior experience in special education, behavioral support, or classroom assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in high-stress situations
- Familiarity with IEPs and student support plans
