Job Description:
Amergis is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide quality services in outpatient clinical settings to prevent illness, and promote optimal, physical, and social health. This exclusive opportunity with Wake County Health and Human Services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive health assessments, administers screenings, and triages symptoms to determine care needs and referrals.
- Develops and adjusts individualized care plans; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and delegates tasks appropriately.
- Provides health education and counseling to clients and families to support informed decision-making and self-care.
- Administers immunizations per state guidelines; documents vaccine data and promotes compliance.
- Maintains accurate, timely documentation of all nursing activities and ensures effective communication across the care team
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- One year of experience in a clinic or immunization setting preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
