Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | 36-Week Contract | Grand Junction, CO
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two Special Education Teachers to support students at Grand Mesa Middle School (SN) and West Middle School (SN) in Grand Junction, CO. These full-time, in-person roles begin October 13, 2025, and run for 36 weeks, offering a competitive rate of $50/hour.
Position Overview:

Location: Grand Mesa MS or West MS, Grand Junction, CO

Duration: 36 weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Hours: 37.5/week (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Modality: In-person
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students
-
Collaborate with general education staff and participate in student program planning
-
Deliver tutorial assistance and consult with support teams
-
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
-
Valid Colorado teaching certificate
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
-
State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)
-
Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
-
Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
-
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
