Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | $66–$70/hr | Full-Time | Short-Term Assignment | Portland, OR

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support Portland Public Schools during a long-term leave coverage. This full-time, in-person role begins October 13, 2025, and runs for 6–8 weeks, with potential for extension. The position offers a competitive rate of $66–$70/hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview:

• Location: Portland, OR

• Start Date: October 13, 2025

• Duration: 6–8 weeks (with potential to extend)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 37.5/week

• Modality: In-person

• Interview: Virtual interview with Special Education Administrator

• Feedback Timeline: 24–48 hours

Assignment Details:

• Initial placement at a single elementary school

• Caseload: Approximately 53 students

• Potential follow-up assignment at a charter school (caseload ~60 students)

• Duties include evaluations, therapy services, and documentation per plan of care

Minimum Requirements:

• Active SLP licensure in Oregon

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Minimum one year of experience as an SLP

• Experience with school-aged children preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
