Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) – Washington State (Remote with Limited On-Site)
We are actively recruiting for multiple Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) positions to support behavioral health services across Washington State. These roles are part of a statewide initiative focused on improving outcomes for children, youth, and families impacted by substance use and behavioral health challenges.
Position Summary
The SUDP provides direct substance use counseling and behavioral health support to individuals and families in both remote and community-based settings. This includes conducting assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, and coordinating care for clients with complex needs, including co-occurring mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, and trauma histories.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver substance use disorder counseling through individual and group sessions
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support clients navigating systems such as child welfare, juvenile justice, and family services
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable standards and regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Current Washington State certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)
- Experience in behavioral health settings, including clinical management of substance use and co-occurring mental health issues
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and family-centered approaches
- CPR certification
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray

- Compensation: $32+ (depends on experience)
