Schedule: Bedford: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM Altoona:10-hour shifts; must be willing to work any of the following: 6 AM – 4 PM, 8 AM– 6 PM, 11 AM – 9 PM, 1 PM – 11 PM, 3 PM – 1 AM, 5 PM – 3 AM, 9 PM – 7 AMMinimum 4 shifts/month required No on-call or callback

Facility Details: Level III Trauma Center Stroke Certified No ventmanagement Admissions coordinated through Hospitalist and Specialty GroupsCerner EMR Altoona: ~45–50K annual visits (avg 137/day) Bedford: ~18–19K annualvisits (avg 51/day) Typical volume: 1–2 patients/hour per provider

Support Structure: Altoona: 24 hours/day physiciancoverage, 24 hours/day APP coverage Bedford: 24-hour physician coverage,12-hour APP coverage Physicians work alongside APPs and sign off on theircharts

Specialty Coverage: Onsite: 24/7 trauma service and acutecare general surgery On-call: Neurology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology (cath lab),OBGYN, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Plastics, GI, Hematology/Oncology, CTsurgery, Intensivist, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric hospitalist,Podiatry, Thoracic surgery, Vascular 24/7 crisis counselors for psychiatricevaluations

Requirements: ABEM or AOBEM certified (BC or truly BE)Stroke certification required PA state license or IMLC accepted Minimum 2 yearsof Emergency Medicine experience Must be willing to work night shifts
