Amergis is looking for passionate Special Education Teachers to join Avondale Elementary School District in the Avondale, AZ area! Interviews being schedule right now on a rolling basis.

Modality:  

SPED Teacher

Grade Level & Classroom Type:

Self-Contained Middle School

Classroom Support:

 Yes (paraprofessionals)

Start & End Date:

ASAP – May 2026

Start & End Time:

Full-time, 7 AM – 3 PM

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred 
  • Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations 
  • Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred 
  • State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
