Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a K–8 resource classroom in Chandler, AZ for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, in-person role begins October 13, 2025, and runs for 9 months, offering a competitive rate of $48–$52/hour.

Position Overview:

Location: Chandler, AZ
Start Date: October 13, 2025
Duration: 9 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40/week
Modality: In-person
Interview: Two rounds (ESS coordinator, then school admin)

Classroom Details:

Grade Level: K–8
Setting: Resource classroom
Specific grade levels discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for K–8 students
Collaborate with general education staff and participate in student program planning
Deliver tutorial assistance and consult with support staff
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

Active Arizona teaching certificate (ADE Cert required)
Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)
Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
