WESD is seeking a dedicated EarlyChildhood Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a lastingimpact in the lives of preschool-aged students. What You’ll Do:

?? Deliver high-quality special education services to Pre-K students with developmental delays or disabilities.
?? Design and implement individualized instruction tailored to each child’s unique needs.
?? Collaborate with therapists, paraprofessionals, nurses, and families to support holistic development.
?? Provide both group and 1:1 support in a classroom setting.
?? Participate in early intervention efforts and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
??? Consult with general education staff to ensure inclusive and effective learning environments.

What We’re Looking For:

?? Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
?? Valid state teaching certificate in accordance with state and district regulations.
?? Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
? Endorsements preferred:

Early Childhood Inclusive or Unified
Early Childhood Special Education
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
Additional requirements may include: CPR certification, TB screening, and current health certificate.

Classroom Details:

Grade Level: Early Childhood (Pre-K)
Modality: In-person
Caseload: To be determined
Support Staff: Paraprofessionals, Behavior Technicians, Nurses (as needed)
Testing Responsibilities: SPED Teacher-led assessments
