Ultrasound Technician

The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements:

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – General Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Crescent City, CA
Start Date: October 20, 2025
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5×8-Hour Shifts
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Pay: $2,846

  • Includes $1,600 taxable income + $1,246 in stipends

?? Position Overview:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Ultrasound Technologists for a travel assignment in Crescent City, CA. This role involves performing routine and specialized sonography procedures of high complexity to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and healthcare providers.

You’ll work independently, exercising sound judgment and seasoned clinical skills in challenging diagnostic situations. This position requires strong communication, patient care, and technical expertise.

? Requirements:

  • ARDMS Certification
  • ARDMS AB (Abdomen) Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)
  • No state license required

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures
  • Accurately follow physician instructions and protocols
  • Assess and monitor patients during procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards
  • May assist in training or orienting new staff
