The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A certification from an accredited ultrasound school 
  • One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age  

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech – General Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Oakland, CA
Start Date: October 13, 2025
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends as needed
Shift: Mid Shift | 5×8-Hour | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

?? Compensation:

  • Travel Pay: $3,059/week
    • Includes $1,400 taxable income + $1,659 in stipends
  • Local Pay: $60/hour

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARDMS AB (Abdomen)
  • ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)

? Preferred Certification:

  • ARDMS OB/GYN

  • Work in a General and Vascular Lab
  • Heavy focus on Vascular Ultrasound, light OB
  • Mid-shift hours with flexibility for weekends
