Position Overview

We are seekingcompassionate and dedicated InstructionalAssistants (School Aides) to join our special education team. Theseroles are classroom-based and involve working directly with students requiringinstructional and/or behavioral support under the supervision of specialeducation staff and classroom teachers.

You will play avital role in:

• Supporting students in self-contained special education classrooms
• Assisting with instructional activities and behavior redirection
• Promoting student engagement, safety, and inclusion
• Providing physical mobility and therapeutic care support as directed by health professionals

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
• Adherence to professional standards of practice

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with special education students, especially in self-contained settings
• Comfortable managing minor behavioral challenges with redirection and prompting
• Team-oriented and proactive in supporting lead teachers
• Passionate about making a difference in students’ lives
