School Behavioral Technician (Consistent Hours)

Position Title: School-Based Behavior Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to provide direct behavioral and educational support to children with special needs in a school setting. This role is fully embedded within school environments, working closely with educators, support staff, and behavioral specialists to implement individualized interventions that promote academic success and behavioral growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students during the school day

• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other professionals to meet IEP and behavioral goals

• Collect and document data on student progress and behavior

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Behavior Technician, preferably in school or pediatric settings (strongly preferred)

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB screening: questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
