The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Shift/Schedule

Open shifts-

1st- 7a-3:30p, 40hrs, EOW
2nd- 3p-11:30p, 40hrs , EOW
3rd- 11p-7:30a, 40hrs, EOW

If Offered- HCP will have to complete Pre- Employment Screening (PES) at the facility. This happens every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10am or 1:30pm. (takes less than an hour, takes badge photo, fills HR forms etc)- Please provide PES availability with submission

· held Tues, Wednesday or Thurs at 10a or 1:30pmpm

WILL ONLY ATTEND PES IF OFFERED AND CONFIRMED

please do not schedule travelers who have lived outside of NC on Wednesdays (they will require fingerprints which are not conducted on Wednesdays)

First 2-4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 2-4 WEEKS.
