Special Education Teacher – High School M/M | $50/hr Local or $2,800/wk Travel | Full-Time | Temporary | Morgan Hill, CA

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a high school mild/moderate (M/M) classroom in Morgan Hill, CA for the first semester of the 2025–2026 school year, with potential for extension. This is a full-time, in-person role beginning October 5, 2025, and running through December 19, 2025.

Position Overview:

Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Start Date: October 5, 2025
End Date: December 19, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40/week
Modality: In-person only
Pay Rate: $50/hour (local) or $2,800/week (travel)
Setting: High School, Mild/Moderate
Type: Temporary (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for high school students with mild/moderate needs
Collaborate with general education and support staff
Participate in planning and implementation of individualized student programs
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

Valid California teaching certificate (SPED required)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
