Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.  The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results.  The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Mammography Technologists for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Palo Alto, California. This is a great opportunity to work in a prestigious environment while enjoying the vibrant culture and scenic beauty of the Bay Area.

Position Details:

  • Location: Palo Alto, CA
  • Start Date: October 13
  • Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: 5x8s (Monday–Friday), 40 hours/week
  • Weekly Pay: $3,342/week
    • Taxable Income: $1,354/week
    • Stipends: $1,988/week (housing + meals/incidental)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Mammography Tech experience
  • CRT – California Radiologic Technologist License
  • MAM – Mammography Certification
  • BLS – Basic Life Support Certification
  • EPIC EMR experience
