Location: Austin, TX – South Central & Northeast Austin Campuses
Start Date: November 3, 2025
End Date: May 28, 2026
Duration: Approximately 28 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Modality: Campus-Based (Guaranteed 1 Remote Day/Week)
Interview Format: Virtual
Pay Rate: $58/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our school-based team in Austin, TX. This role involves conducting evaluations, delivering therapy services, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success across K–12 settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEPs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the educational environment.
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Caseload & Support
- Caseload: 45–55 students
- Grade Levels: K–12
- Classroom Types: General Education, Inclusion, Self-Contained
- Team Support: Collaborative Speech Team on campus
- Group or 1:1 Support Staff: Not applicable
Requirements
- Active SLP licensure in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
