Behavioral Aide – School Setting

Location: Burbank, Newhall CA
Company: Amergis Healthcare Staffing
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem
Pay Range: $19–$26/hour (DOE)

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? Amergis Healthcare is seeking dedicated Behavioral Aides to work in school settings across Burbank. You’ll provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioral and academic needs, collaborating closely with educators and therapists to foster success and independence.

Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA strategies
Support students with academic and behavioral goals
Assist with speech, occupational, and physical therapy activities
Provide crisis intervention and behavior management
Help students develop daily living and self-care skills
Maintain accurate documentation and data collection
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
2+ years of pediatric or classroom experience (preferred)
CPR certification and health screening (as required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for helping children thrive
