Position Overview

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K–12 with diverse learning needs. This role focuses on self-contained classrooms using both adaptive and general curricula. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-focused, and committed to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff to support student success
• Provide tutorial assistance and consultation as needed
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Minimum Requirements

• ?? Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• ????? Valid state teaching certificate (as required by state/district)
• ?? Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (preferred)

  • Standard Elementary Teaching
