Special Education Teacher – Early Childhood | $50/hr | Full-Time | Maricopa, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher with an Early Childhood SPED endorsement to support a preschool caseload in Maricopa, AZ for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins September 29, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, with virtual interviews available.

Position Details:

• Location: Maricopa, AZ

• Start Date: September 29, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

• Grade Level: Preschool SPED

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to preschool students with academic and behavioral needs

• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid SPED teaching certificate with Early Childhood endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
