CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

Amergis is currentlyseeking experienced CAT Scan Technologists for TRAVELassignments in Wareham, MA!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 wks

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 10/13 or ASAP

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 hrs/wk, 5x8s – Mix of 7a-3:30p, 11a-7:30p, and 3p-11:30p

*Every otherweekend, every other holiday, on call required

 

Setting/Day to day

• Must be comfortable going to the OR
• EMR: EPIC

 

Requirements

• ARRT required
• Must be willing to scan BOTH CT and Xray
• Current MA license
• Must have experience with Siemens for CT and Cannon for Xray/Rad

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician.  These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologistpreferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
