?? Position Overview:

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll provide individualized instruction and coordinate services for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal success.

? Qualifications:

• Missouri Certification in one or more of the following:
  • Mild-Moderate Disabilities (LD, BD/ED, MR, OHI)
  • Hearing Impaired
  • Visually Impaired
  • Severe Developmental Disabilities
• Alternative certifications may be considered.

?? Reporting Structure:

• Direct supervision by the School Site Principal
• Collaborative support from the Director of Pupil Services

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs as a case manager
• Provide specialized instruction in inclusive and separate settings
• Collaborate with general education staff and families
• Maintain compliance documentation per DESE guidelines
• Participate in evaluations and instructional planning
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Use technology to enhance instruction and manage records
• Uphold district policies and safety practices
