Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – $65/hr | Full-Time | Kansas City, MO | 3-Month FMLA Coverage

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, short-term assignment in Kansas City, MO. This position provides coverage for an FMLA leave and runs from ASAP through December 12, 2025.

Position Overview:

• Location: Kansas City, MO

• Modality: In-person

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

• Start Date: October 6, 2025

• End Date: December 12, 2025

• Duration: 3 months

• Pay Rate: $65/hour

• Interview Format: Virtual

• Classroom Support: Group-based support with paras, BTs, and nurses

• Grade Level & Setting: TBD during interview based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and screenings for students performing at the second-grade level

• Address referrals from teachers and parents for speech/language concerns (articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language)

• Develop treatment recommendations and document therapy services

• Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals

Requirements:

• Active Missouri SLP license

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a school or pediatric setting

• BLS certification

• CPR, TB screening, and health clearance as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
