The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
One year of professionalexperience, preferred
Current CPR
PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

School/Address:	Ames Elementary School Address: 86 Southcote Rd. Riverside, IL 60546
Hours:	8:00am-3:15pm
Start/End date:	Wed 10/1 -May 2026
Services:	Overseeing the health office doing general triage, med passes, ice packs, assessing kids to see if they need to go home or have a parent called, charting office visits, etc. No medically complex kids in the school, no students with diabetes in the school, a handful of seizure action plans to be aware of.
