Position Overview:
Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at Scholarship Prep, serving students in grades K–8 within a Special Education setting. This part-time role focuses on both evaluation and therapy services for a caseload of 17 students, 8 of whom require case management.
The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with physician orders and school guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
