The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologistpreferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Position Description: Weekends: Yes Float: Yes to other campuses if needed
Shift: Shift Info: Day 5×8-Hour 07:00 – 15:30 (Will vary depending on need of the department. Primarily will be days and evening coverage with some mid-shift coverage possibility.)
Expectations: CT and Xray duties plus be able to provide service to the OR as needed. Shifts vary depending on need of the department Call: None
