Special Education Teacher – Math Resource | $50/hr or $2,400/week Travel Package | Glendale, AZ | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a resource classroom with a math emphasis in Glendale, Arizona. This role begins September 21, 2025, and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Candidates may choose between a $50/hour rate or a weekly travel package of $2,400. Virtual interviews are available.

Position Highlights

Location: Glendale, AZ
Grade Level: K–12
Focus Area: Resource setting with modified Algebra I curriculum
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Duration: 36 weeks
Modality: In-person only
Interview: Virtual

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct instruction using a modified Algebra I curriculum
Case manage and write IEPs
Provide specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals
Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid Arizona teaching certificate (SPED preferred)
LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable
Must be at least 18 years of age
