Special Education Teacher – Math Resource | $50/hr or $2,400/week Travel Package | Glendale, AZ | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a resource classroom with a math emphasis in Glendale, Arizona. This role begins September 21, 2025, and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Candidates may choose between a $50/hour rate or a weekly travel package of $2,400. Virtual interviews are available.

Position Highlights

• Location: Glendale, AZ

• Grade Level: K–12

• Focus Area: Resource setting with modified Algebra I curriculum

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Modality: In-person only

• Interview: Virtual

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction using a modified Algebra I curriculum

• Case manage and write IEPs

• Provide specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (SPED preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable

• Must be at least 18 years of age
