Special Education Teacher – Elementary Resource | $51/hr | Gilbert, AZ | Full-Time | PreK–6

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support resource services for students in grades PreK through 6. This in-person role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 2026. The teacher will work under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator and collaborate with general education staff and paraprofessionals to deliver individualized support.

Position Overview

Location: Gilbert, AZ
Start Date: September 22, 2025 (or ASAP)
End Date: May 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $51/hour
Grade Level: PreK–6
Classroom Type: Resource
Modality: In-person only
Interview Format: In-person

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and tutorial support
Implement IEPs and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
Collaborate with paraprofessionals and general education staff
Participate in team planning and student program development

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid Arizona teaching certificate (Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education)
LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
