The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $3,499

  • Taxable Income: $1,840
  • Stipends: $1,659

Job Description:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is urgently seeking experienced CAT Scan Techs for a reputable facility in San Leandro, CA. This is a travel opportunity for professionals ready to make an impact in a dynamic radiology/cardiology department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform both CT and X-ray duties
  • Provide imaging support to the Operating Room (OR) as needed
  • Adapt to varying shift needs based on department demand

Shift Details:

  • Primary Coverage: Days and Evenings
  • Possible Mid-Shift Coverage
  • Scheduled Shift: 5×8-Hour Days
  • Hours: 07:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 40

Requirements:

  • Certifications:
    • ARRT (R)
    • BLS
    • CST
    • Fluoroscopy Certification
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT and X-ray
  • Travel-Ready and available to start September 29
