Become a School-Based LVN with Amergis Educational Staffing

Location: High Desert, CA
Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for school-based assignments in the High Desert region. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide direct care and support to students in an educational environment, helping ensure their health, safety, and readiness to learn.

The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
One year of professionalexperience, preferred
Current CPR
PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
