Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Classroom Aide. The Behavioral Classroom Aide provides behavioral support services in the school setting.

?? Job Overview

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in school settings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children with special needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

?? Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide direct support to students with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges
Reinforce positive behaviors and help students develop coping strategies
Collect and report behavioral data to supervising clinicians or school staff
Collaborate with teachers, aides, and therapists to support student goals
Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

?? Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with children or in behavioral health preferred
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification a plus
CPR and First Aid certification (may be required)
TB clearance and health screening (per district policy)
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
