Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in school settings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children with special needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

• Provide direct support to students with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges

• Reinforce positive behaviors and help students develop coping strategies

• Collect and report behavioral data to supervising clinicians or school staff

• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and therapists to support student goals

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

?? Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience working with children or in behavioral health preferred

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification a plus

• CPR and First Aid certification (may be required)

• TB clearance and health screening (per district policy)

• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
