Special Education Teachers (5 Openings) – K–12 | Denton, TX | $42/hr | Full-Time | Inclusion & Self-Contained

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring five full-time Special Education Teachers to support K–12 students across multiple campuses in Denton, Texas. These in-person roles begin ASAP and run through May 29, 2026. Teachers will work in both inclusion and self-contained classrooms, with para support provided.

Position Overview

• Location: Denton, TX (multiple campuses)

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: May 29, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)

• Pay Rate: $42/hour

• Grade Levels: K–12

• Classroom Types: Inclusion and self-contained

• Support: Paraprofessional support provided

• Modality: In-person only

• Interview Format: Virtual or in-person

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction and support in inclusion and self-contained settings

• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers

• Implement IEPs and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Valid Texas teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
