Location: Fayetteville, NC

Contract Duration: 2025 – 2026 School Year

Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Start Date: ASAP

 

Job Description: 

TheOccupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations,developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each student.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges to support their academic and functional performance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills within the educational environment.
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence in school-related tasks such as handwriting, organization, and daily routines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
