Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person speech and language services across multiple locations in Lane County, OR.
Position Details:
- Location: Lane County, OR
- Rate: $38/hr
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
- Duration: 36 weeks
- Modality: In-person only
- Setting: Multiple sites within the county
Role Overview:
The SLPA will assist a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services. Responsibilities include treatment sessions, documentation, and collaboration with educational staff—all within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
- 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
- Current SLPA certification/licensure in Oregon
- Compliance with professional standards of practice
- Preferred: 1+ year of SLPA experience
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
