CVOR RN | Travel Contract | October Start – Palo Alto

Start Date: October 2025 | 13-Week Contract

We’re seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Palo Alto, California. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical team in a world-class facility.

Position Highlights

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Setting: Hospital – Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Start Window: October 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
• Shift: Days with rotating start times (6:30 AM, 8:45 AM, or 10:45 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)
• CA RN License
• 3+ years of CVOR RN experience
• Ability to scrub cardiac surgery is a plus (not required)
• Certifications:
  • BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience:
  • EPIC EMR proficiency
  • Previous travel RN experience

Additional Compliance Requirements

• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required
• Computer proficiency required

What You’ll Do:
Provide expert nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting with complex cardiac surgeries. Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
