Float ICU RN | Travel Contract | October Start – Pleasanton
Start Date: October | 13-Week Contract
We’re seeking an experienced Float ICU RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple critical care units, providing high-acuity care in a dynamic environment.
Position Highlights
- Location: Pleasanton, CA
- Setting: Hospital – ICU/ED Float Pool
- Start Window: October 2025
- Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
- Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
- Shift: Nights
Required Qualifications
- Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)
- CA RN License
- 3+ years of ICU and/or ED RN experience
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association)
- Experience:
- EPIC EMR proficiency
- Previous travel RN experience
Additional Compliance Requirements
- TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required
- Computer proficiency required

Provide expert nursing care for critically ill patients across ICU and ED units. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
