2025–2026 School Year | September–June $35/hour | Full-Time | Building Assignment TBD

Amergis is seeking a dependable and flexible Building Substitute Teacher to support Beloit-area schools throughout the upcoming academic year. This full-time role offers consistent daily placement within a single school building (assignment to be finalized prior to start), providing coverage across grade levels and subjects as needed.

?? Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom coverage in the absence of the regular teacher
Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain instructional continuity
Support classroom routines, behavior expectations, and student engagement
Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and student support
Maintain accurate attendance and classroom documentation
Step into various instructional and supervisory roles as needed

? Requirements

Valid Wisconsin DPI substitute license or teaching license
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Prior classroom experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, flexibility, and classroom management skills
Ability to adapt quickly and build rapport with students and staff
