Amergis is seeking a dependable and flexible Building Substitute Teacher to support Beloit-area schools throughout the upcoming academic year. This full-time role offers consistent daily placement within a single school building (assignment to be finalized prior to start), providing coverage across grade levels and subjects as needed.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage in the absence of the regular teacher

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain instructional continuity

• Support classroom routines, behavior expectations, and student engagement

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and student support

• Maintain accurate attendance and classroom documentation

• Step into various instructional and supervisory roles as needed

? Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin DPI substitute license or teaching license

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Prior classroom experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, flexibility, and classroom management skills

• Ability to adapt quickly and build rapport with students and staff
