Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours hospice care to patients and families throughout the Greater Austin area. This role is vital in ensuring timely clinical support, symptom management, and emotional care during evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient and family needs during on-call hours, including phone triage and in-person visits.
  • Deliver skilled nursing care and crisis intervention in alignment with hospice standards.
  • Assess patient conditions and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and interventions.
  • Travel to patient homes or facilities as needed within the designated coverage area.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience; hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
