Compensation:

• Local Rate: $70/hr
• Travel Rate: $52/hr + Weekly Stipend

Position Overview:

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide school-based services to students in both elementary and high school settings. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with physician orders and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract)
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
